Není. Je to čiré ředidlo bez pigmentu – nic jím nenabarvíte ani nepřekryjete. Slouží výhradně k naředění akrylové barvy před stříkáním nebo malováním štětcem.

Ředidlo snižuje hustotu barvy, aby prošla tryskou – tím ale zároveň snižuje krytí a sytost. Flow Improver naopak není určen k tomu, aby barvu udělal stříkatelnou: zlepšuje tok a zpomaluje zasychání barvy na jehle a v trysce, takže brání ucpávání airbrushe, a krytí přitom nechává prakticky beze změny. Řeší dva různé problémy a dobře se doplňují.

Voda barvu naředí, ale zároveň naruší poměr pojiva – nátěr pak hůř drží a bývá křehčí. Ředidlo je formulované tak, aby hustotu snížilo bez ztráty přilnavosti a odolnosti, což je při stříkání znát.

Pro akrylové modelářské barvy Vallejo – jak pro hustší štětcovou řadu Model Color, tak pro airbrushové řady Model Air, Game Air a Metal Color.
