An aircraft lacquer spray from Tamiya's AS line, designed for painting plastic aircraft models. It is a synthetic lacquer ready for immediate use — the paint does not need to be thinned or poured into an airbrush; the spray is applied directly. The Olive Drab shade represents the American olive green used during the Second World War to paint the upper surfaces of USAAF aircraft. The package contains 100 ml of lacquer and dries to a matte finish suited to camouflage coats from this period.

Use

• Painting plastic aircraft models, especially the upper surfaces of American USAAF aircraft from the Second World War.
• Spray from a distance of approximately 25–30 cm from the model.
• Apply in several thin coats, letting them dry between passes — this prevents runs and preserves the engraved detail.
• The best adhesion is achieved on clean plastic or over a primer coat.
• Shake the can for several dozen seconds before use, and spray in a well-ventilated space.
