The set Assorted bolts No.2 continues the range of small resin fittings. It serves to bring the smooth surfaces of models to life in any scale.

The second set continues in the same spirit as the first: it offers resin heads of bolts and nuts in several sizes, so that the builder can pick the shape that suits the work. Here too the manufacturer does not determine the scale, because the same fittings look different every time on a tank, on a locomotive and on a crane. The brand Royal Model comes from Italy.
Crisp heads come out well on the edges of hatches, on pipe flanges, on track links and on the clips of equipment. Surfaces down which rust runs are especially rewarding: grime settles around a raised head differently than on smooth sheet metal, and it is exactly from that that convincing patina comes.
Clean the remains of the casting layer off the castings and degrease them. They are attached with cyanoacrylate; on large surfaces it helps to mark the position in advance with a scribed cross. It pays to paint only after gluing, otherwise a light ring will be left around the part. A thin dark glaze coat will bring out the outline, and a dry brush will then draw the top of the head into the light. Anyone who wants to go further can suggest a rusty trickle running down the metal around a few selected heads; a thin brush and a little patience are all it takes.
Inside you will find nothing but castings of fittings; nothing further is enclosed with them.
