Colour Mixing Wheel from AK interactive is an aid for mixing paints, a color wheel on which you can see how shades relate to one another. It is neither a paint nor a set of paints.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aid for working with color from the brand AK interactive. The color wheel shows the relationships between shades: which pairs stand opposite each other, which are neighbors and what happens when you mix them. It is a reference tool for the workbench, not a consumable. You will find no paint in the package.
The commonest mistake in lightening and shading is to solve both with white and black. White bleaches a shade toward chalk, black dirties it toward ash, and the area loses its color exactly where it was meant to gain volume. The color wheel offers a better way: mix a highlight by adding a warmer neighboring shade, and a shadow by darkening toward the opposite color. That way the whole tonal ladder stays colorful and the individual layers fit together. The wheel also suits the opposite task, subduing a color that is too saturated: a small admixture of the opposite shade is enough and the color loses its garishness without going gray. And when you plan a multi-layer procedure in advance, the wheel saves you several test mixes, because you can estimate the result of two colors before you mix them.
For beginners who are only learning to mix, and for the advanced who work with a small palette and want to get the most out of it. It is useful above all with figures and everywhere a lot of layering is done.
This is an aid for planning colors, not a paint. Keep out of the reach of small children.
