This Kh-59MK guided missile in 1:72 scale is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin Kh-59MK guided missile in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The resin print manages the long body, the folding surfaces and the engine nacelle under the missile's body. It is not an aircraft model but a separate store to be hung under the wing of a finished model.
The Kh-59 family is built around a small jet engine carried in a nacelle under the body, thanks to which the missile covers tens of kilometers. While the baseline version heads for the target on a picture relayed to the cockpit, the later versions received different seekers that find the target by themselves. The carrier therefore does not have to stay in the area and can withdraw after launch. On a model the two versions are much alike and differ mainly in the front.
Release the long body from the supports on a flat work mat so that it does not bow. Sand the marks down with fine paper and wet sand, with respiratory protection. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Clean out the engine air intake and darken it. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
