This is a set of color Gundam Marker pens from the Gunze company, with the MSV label added in the name. The pen applies the paint straight from the tip, so for small areas and details you need no brush, no palette and no airbrush. The set belongs among modeling paints.
The pens prove themselves everywhere spray would reach the surrounding areas: separating the colors of small parts, touch-ups after sanding or after removing a sprue gate, edges, loops and small details of a finished model. They can be worked with in stages too; the job does not have to be finished in one sitting, because nothing dries up in a cup. They also serve well for repairing a small scratch on an otherwise finished model, where setting up an airbrush would not be worth it.
The ground has to be clean, degreased and dry. With pens carrying opaque paint, the contents usually need shaking before first use and the tip needs charging by pressing it lightly onto an offcut; the exact procedure is given in the manufacturer's instructions. Prefer to cover with two lighter passes rather than one heavy one; a heavy coat emphasizes the marks of the tip. Put the cap firmly on after work, or the tip will dry out, and do not leave the pens in direct sun.
The set suits builders of robot kits and anyone who needs to color a detail quickly and cleanly without setting up an airbrush. The model, the glue and the varnish are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
