Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of landing gear wheels for a Yak-141 model in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. Printing in resin brings out the tread pattern and the shape of the rim without the mold seam that a plastic wheel has down the middle. It is not an aircraft kit but replacement parts for your own model.
The Yak-141 was a Soviet supersonic aircraft with vertical takeoff and landing, one of the most interesting attempts of its kind at all. It combined a main engine with a rotating nozzle and a pair of lift engines behind the cockpit, and its development ended with the breakup of the Soviet Union. That is exactly why it is sought after among modelers: few machines were built and a model offers a silhouette you will not find anywhere else.
Cut the supports off with a scalpel and level the mating pad, so that a wheel sits square to the leg. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Spray the tire a very dark gray and the rim separately after the real subject. In 1:72 scale the wheel is tiny, so patient work with a fine brush will help at the transition between the rim and the tire.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
