Four paints of 17 ml from the Real Colors line, put together for the finishes of modern American armored vehicles. The line is lacquer-type — it is not thinned with water or with acrylic thinner, only with the thinner of the same line. That has to be borne in mind before you pour the paint into the airbrush.
On armored vehicles the choice of the base shade decides the result more than it does on aircraft, because the surfaces are large and a flat, uniform coat makes them look like a toy. A dark, even black base gives depth: the final shade is then applied in thin coats only to the surfaces turned toward the light, while in the shadows and the recesses the base keeps showing through and the model gains relief even before the first wash. A light base, on the contrary, gives brightness and a clean tone — it suits you when you want the shade exactly as it looks on a color chart. The compromise is a gray primer, which does not push the shade either way. Whatever you choose, decide beforehand: a base showing through a thin coat is an effect that is planned in advance, not one that is put right afterwards. And on smooth plastic and resin the primer also remains what it mainly is — a layer that keeps the paint in place.
For modelers of modern ground vehicles who want the shades for one group of vehicles together and in matching chemistry.
Keep the paints out of the reach of children, use them in a well-ventilated area and wear a respirator when spraying.
