A blue Mr. Color shade in an eighteen-milliliter bottle, from the gloss range with higher covering power.
Responsibility details are not available.
The eighteen milliliters of content set this item apart from the usual shades of the same brand, which are filled to roughly half that. The difference shows the moment you spray a continuous area: a car body, the fuselage of an airliner or a large part in 1:35 scale swallows a surprising amount of paint, and when the bottle runs dry in the middle of the work, a second batch is hard to mix to the same result.
The shades in this branch of the range are built to dry to a smooth gloss with no need for a further clear coat. The saturation is higher than that of an ordinary blue, so the area tends to come out even after fewer passes, which helps keep the relief of the part legible. Anyone who wants to push the gloss further can polish the surface lightly once it has fully cured, but carefully, because the coat is always thinner on the edges.
Thin the paint with this brand's own thinner to the consistency of milk and spray it in several light passes with short pauses. A saturated blue tends to show the undercoat through unevenly, so an even base underneath makes the work markedly easier. The binder contains solvent, so work with ventilation, and apply masking tape to the finished surface only after a longer cure, not after a few minutes.
Besides car bodies it will serve anywhere a blue is meant to be saturated and even: on tail surfaces, on large insignia and on the decorative stripes of airliners, where a weaker shade would need too many coats.
