Soviet pilot figures with the ZSh-3 helmet in 1:32 scale are 3D printed figures from Temp Models for models of older Soviet aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed figures of Soviet Air Force pilots in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. The figures carry the ZSh-3 protective flight helmet, which is the oldest type of this family the manufacturer offers in figures. It is not a model of an aircraft but the crew for models of older machines.
The ZSh-3 is one of the first Soviet flight helmets to come close in appearance to today's. Against the later types it is still a separate shell with folding flaps and with an optical filter that the pilot folded down by hand when he needed it, not automatically. On a figure in a large scale the difference from the later helmets is clearly apparent and it helps to place the period the scene belongs to.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the figures in layers from the base tone toward the light edges, and leave the face and the hands for last.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model aircraft are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
