Vallejo Pipettes Medium 3 ml, a set of 8

A set of eight plastic pipettes from Vallejo, each with a capacity of 3 ml. It is a modeling aid, not a paint: there is no pigment, thinner or other chemistry in the package, only the pipettes themselves. They serve for the precise and repeatable dosing of liquids on the bench: paints, thinners, cleaners and washes. The medium size is a practical compromise, as it takes enough liquid to fill an airbrush cup while still allowing dosing drop by drop.

• Mixing shades in an exact ratio. Anyone who mixes their own shade will appreciate that the ratio can be written down and repeated exactly a second time. The same color cannot be mixed by eye.

What it is and what it is not

It is not a paint and not a thinner, it is a tool. The pipettes are consumable and in practice single-use: once they have been in contact with paint or solvent it is better to throw them away than to clean them at length, and above all to dedicate one pipette to one liquid. That is why they are sold in a set of eight.
