Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector's model of the French Dassault Mirage IIIC fighter in 1:72 scale from Falcon Models. The model is cast in metal with additional plastic parts, painted and marked, so it is neither built nor glued. It has engraved panel lines, an opening canopy with a worked-out interior and extended landing gear. A stand is included, on which the machine can also be displayed in a flying position.
The Mirage III was a French supersonic fighter with a delta wing that spread to a number of countries in the 1960s. Switzerland acquired above all a license-modified version, but it also operated a few machines of the basic form, which served the Swiss Air Force test and development establishment. The machine with the serial J-2201 was one of those, and its markings differ from those of ordinary squadron aircraft.
The metal casting is heavier than a plastic model, so stand the stand on a firm surface. Wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth; cleaning agents can damage the printed markings. Do not display the model in direct sunlight, as the printed lettering and the colors will fade. Handle the opening canopy carefully, as the hinge is the most stressed place on the whole model.
It is a finished painted model, not a kit. No glue or paints are needed.
