Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut painting masks for the model of the German Henschel Hs 129 ground-attack aircraft in the B-2 and B-3 versions in 1:48 scale. The masks are cut from kabuki masking tape, that is, from thin Japanese paper with a low-tack adhesive. The basic version covers the canopy glazing, the other transparent parts and the wheels. More detailed versions from the same manufacturer additionally provide the frame edging and masks for the inner side of the glazing.
The Hs 129 was a German ground-attack aircraft intended for destroying tanks. It had a heavily armored forward fuselage and an exceptionally cramped cockpit into which some of the instruments did not fit and had to be moved to the inner sides of the engine nacelles. The B-2 version carried various armament options, while the B-3 was given a large-caliber cannon under the fuselage. The slung weapon is precisely the most conspicuous difference between the two configurations.
Lift the masks off the sheet with the sharp point of a scalpel or with tweezers, not with your fingers. Degrease the glazing surface before sticking them down, otherwise the tape will not hold. Press the edges down thoroughly with a toothpick so that paint does not run underneath. Spray thin coats and take the mask off while the paint is dry to the touch, not after days of hardening.
The set contains painting masks only. Neither paints nor a model are included in the package.
