Responsibility details are not available.
Revi is a Czech magazine devoted to the history of flight, centered on the period of the two world wars and on postwar military and civil hardware. The individual issues are built on archive research, period photographs and the accounts of witnesses, so alongside historians they are also read by plastic modelers, who look in them for reference on the colors and the markings of particular aircraft.
The issue brings the third part of a study on the Knight's Cross holder Hans Krause and the second part of an article on the DH.94 Moth Minor in Australia, New Zealand and Africa. It is followed by a piece on the operations of Hellcat carrier fighters over the Solomon Islands, a survey of Turkish F-16s, a text on Frantisek Perina fighting Stuka dive bombers, a feature titled Zero with Question Marks and a recollection of an attack by a night fighter.
Besides the historical studies the issue carries a regular modeling column, Models in the Gunsight, and a survey of new releases, Landed on the Editorial Desk, which reviews fresh kits, accessories and book titles. The texts are accompanied by period photographs and drawings. For modelers the main value lies exactly in that combination of a detailed description of particular aircraft with visual material that can be used as a starting point for building, painting and for choosing markings that really existed. The title is published in Czech. Older and newer issues form a coherent collection that can be filled in gradually, especially as the serialized articles run across two or more issues.
