Building and painting tips

Build the car on a flat surface so that the load area does not end up twisted and the model stands on all its wheels. Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, fold them along the marked grooves and glue them with super glue applied in a minute amount. Match the choice of glue for the other parts to their material according to the instructions. Before painting, wash everything in lukewarm water with detergent. Railway cars tended to be scuffed down to bare metal, so bring out the edges of the load area and the area around the lashing points with rust and rubbing.
