A snap-together kit of the Volkswagen camper van in a blue finish from the Airfix Quick Build line. It is assembled without glue and without painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Volkswagen Camper Van is one of the best-known vans of the twentieth century. The rear air-cooled engine, the high cab with a good view out and the camper conversion of the interior made it a symbol of travel and leisure. It is precisely the rounded shapes and the bold two-tone body that make this vehicle a rewarding model, recognizable at first glance.
The Quick Build line from Airfix works on a different principle from classic plastic kits. The parts are made of colored plastic and snap together, so neither glue nor paints are needed. The model therefore comes together in a short while, and the finished vehicle can be taken apart and put together again at any time. This variant is finished in blue.
Follow the numbering in the instructions, push the parts in square and press them fully home so that the joint snaps in properly. If a joint goes in stiffly, check whether any sprue gate remains on the part and clean it up carefully. Apply the stickers supplied onto a clean, dry surface and press them from the center out to the edges so that no air is left under them. Anyone who wants to go further can finish the completed model with paint for plastic, but the kit does not require it.
The set suits the youngest modelers, beginners and anyone who wants a finished vehicle on the shelf without the work of glue and an airbrush. It is also a suitable first step before a classic glued kit.
The package contains the parts of the kit and the instructions. Paints, glue and a display case are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
