Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory from the range of the Russian brand Temp Models, carried as equipment for refueling Su and MiG aircraft, in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model or a part of one but flight line equipment that gives a scene its action. The set is printed in resin, so it manages even thin hoses and frames. The manufacturer gives no more detailed description of the item.
Preparing a combat aircraft for its next takeoff is mainly work with fuel. On the flight line the refueling equipment is brought up to the machine, the crew runs the hoses out and connects them to the filling points on the fuselage. It is exactly this moment that is rewarding in a diorama: it shows the aircraft at work rather than as an exhibit, and it explains to the viewer why people are standing around the machine. Accessories in this category therefore belong to the most frequently built elements of airfield scenes.
Release the parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface; the thin frames snap. Sand the burrs off with fine abrasive paper, wet. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Airfield equipment is scuffed and grimy, so after the base color suggest scuffs on the edges, fuel stains and dust at the foot.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
