The set brings two 3D printed figures of Russian Air Force personnel in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. The number of pieces is part of the designation of the set, so it is certain. The figures are modeled on real photographs and will add both a sense of scale and a story to a finished model. It is not a model of an aircraft but figures to go with one.
The figure sets of this range capture the people around a combat aircraft on the apron: the flight crew before take-off as well as the technicians who prepare the machine. The two are told apart at first glance, because a pilot carries flight equipment with straps and a helmet, while a technician works in simple working clothes. In a hot climate lighter clothing and protection of the head against the sun appear in both groups, which is clearly visible on figures in a large scale.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the figures in layers from the base tone toward the light edges, and leave the face and the hands for last.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model aircraft are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
