Set F from 77propeller is a set of three flexible plastic masking stencils for spraying the typical camouflage of German Second World War fighters - the so-called shingles pattern, that is the irregular scale-like (shingle) mottling on the fuselage and the fin. It is not a kit but a modeling tool. The stencils are laid on the model and the paint is sprayed through them with an airbrush, which creates a regularly irregular pattern that is hard to spray freehand. The set contains stencils of different sizes (small, medium and large) for use on different areas.

Use

• Lay the stencil on the fuselage or the tail surfaces and spray the mottling shade through it with an airbrush
• Creating the shingles scale pattern typical of Luftwaffe fighters
• Combine the three stencil sizes according to the size of the area being sprayed
• Bending the stencil lets you work the pattern onto curved surfaces as well
