A modeling accessory from the brand Firma49 under the designation 49T017/02, intended for completing models of vehicles and scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
The accessory from the brand Firma49 belongs among accessories for models of vehicles, that is among the parts that are added to a finished model or into a scene where the means of the kit itself are not enough. The package is made up of separate parts ready to be cleaned up, glued on and painted. Because the accessory is not tied to one single kit, compare the dimensions of the parts before building with the place they are to go and with the scale of the model you are building.
Before you set to work, look the parts over and leave them together until you really need them, as small pieces are easily lost. Try the fit dry, without glue, and only then adjust the seating surfaces according to the result. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a short distance from the part and sand the remainder carefully so as not to get into the detail. Cut in several passes rather than in one stroke.
Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry perfectly. On a greasy surface the paint only appears to hold and it flakes off during handling. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts. If they are not polystyrene, ordinary modeling cement for plastic will not hold the joint, so reach for cyanoacrylate, and on larger areas for the slower-setting kind, so that there is time left to align them. Start painting with a primer, which unifies the surface and shows up small flaws before the covering coat hides them. For the particular procedure, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
The accessory alone is supplied. The model, the paints, the glue and the tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
