Transformers Arcee - Smart Kit 04 is a plastic model of the Autobot Arcee from the Smart Kit series of the Trumpeter brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit represents one of the few female characters among the Autobots. It belongs to a numbered range in which Trumpeter is gradually releasing further heroes as well as their opponents; the sequence number is part of the name.
Arcee tends to be portrayed as a fast and agile fighter who makes her mark in the team through nimbleness rather than strength. Her robot form is slight next to her massive colleagues: slender limbs, a narrow torso and a strikingly shaped head. In individual treatments she turns into various vehicles, but the silhouette of the character stays easily recognizable.
The thin legs and arms will not stand coarse nipping: cut them from the sprue with a margin and sand the rest carefully. Before applying paint, wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry, so as to rid them of grease from production. Leave the places that are meant to snap together unpainted, because a thicker coat will otherwise keep them from seating accurately. Apply light shades over a white primer, or they will stay weak.
The model is sold unassembled and its assembly and painting are up to the owner. Tools and consumables are not part of the delivery.
