About product

Fluor Magenta acrylic ink (AK Interactive)

This is a highly pigmented acrylic ink from The Inks range, not a conventional opaque paint. The fluorescent magenta shade is transparent and serves to adjust the tone of a surface without covering up the detail of a model. The inks are thinned with water, or with alcohol, and their fine binder formulation allows smooth transitions and glazes.

Use

  • Application with a brush or an airbrush, on its own or as a filter or a glaze.
  • Layering over base colors to increase depth and saturation.
  • Mixing with acrylic paints to achieve livelier shades.
  • Suitable for bringing out the detail of figures and of science fiction or fantasy models.

Who it is for

For modelers and figure painters who want deep, luminous color and subtle toning without losing detail.

This is a transparent toning ink with no covering power. Work in a well-ventilated area and keep it out of the reach of children.
