This is not a model of a motorcycle but a detail set. It serves to replace the standard footpegs on a kit of the Yamaha YZR-M1 racing machine of 2005 to 2010. The accurately machined metal parts look finer and more convincing than the plastic originals.
The footpegs and their brackets are among the visible features of a motorcycle. A metal version brings out the detail around the frame and the rear of the machine and will stand the handling a finished model gets.
Deburr and degrease the metal parts and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Try the parts dry before gluing and, if necessary, coat the surface with a base color for better paint adhesion.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
