A detail accessory from the Polish maker RB model in 1:35 scale. It imitates the German hand grenades used during the Second World War. It serves as a small but conspicuous element for fitting out figures, armored vehicles and dioramas. The miniature rendering is finer than the coarse plastic parts from ordinary kits.
German infantry in the Second World War used hand grenades as standard equipment. The best known was the stick grenade with a wooden handle, complemented by egg-type grenades. These grenades were carried on the belt, in pouches and left lying in trenches and firing positions, which makes them a typical detail of a combat scene.
Degrease the parts and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Place them convincingly, for example at the belts of figures, in crates or on the floor of a vehicle. A primer, a dark wash and light weathering will support the realism.
This is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
