About product

Gloss Medium – a Vallejo acrylic gloss medium

An auxiliary colorless medium from the range of supplementary Vallejo products. It is added to acrylic paints, reduces their consistency and increases gloss, flow and transparency. Once dry it is flexible and water-resistant. It is not an opaque paint or a standalone protective varnish – it serves to adjust how acrylics behave.

Use

  • It is mixed with acrylic paints for a glossier and more transparent application.
  • Suitable for glazing and smooth color transitions.
  • It is thinned and cleaned with water.
  • It is applied with a brush and, once suitably thinned, with an airbrush.

Who it is for

For modelers and figure painters working with acrylic paints who want to control the gloss and transparency of the finish.

A water-based product, solvent-free and non-flammable. Store out of the reach of children.
