Green Glaze (AK Interactive)

Green Glaze is an acrylic translucent glaze from the AK Interactive figure range in a 35 ml bottle. Being an acrylic it is thinnable with water (or with acrylic thinner) and is laid on with a brush as well as with an airbrush. Important: it is a translucent toning product, not an opaque paint. It is not used to color an area fully but to shift the shade of the layer underneath gently, much like a filter. Once dry the surface is markedly matte.

Use

• It is laid on in thin coats over an already painted and dry base; each coat shifts the tone slightly toward green.
• It serves for the chromatic variation of monochrome uniforms, for unifying camouflage and for weathering effects (suggesting dirt, stubble, emphasizing volumes on figures).
• You govern the strength of the effect by thinning with water and by the number of coats; for a stronger tone lay on more coats.
• Mix the bottle before use; the paint can be laid on straight from the bottle without thinning.

Who it is for

For figure painters and modelers who want to tone gently, bring uniforms to life and give the modeling depth. Thanks to being water-thinnable it suits beginners as well, with no smell of solvents, but the full potential of a glaze will rather be used by more advanced figure painters.

It contains no thinner. Keep the product out of the reach of children and work in a ventilated space.
