A muted gray-brown shade from the acrylic line that AMMO of Mig Jimenez aims at figures, uniforms and equipment. It is a water-thinnable acrylic in a dropper bottle. Subdued gray-brown tones are among the most used paints on the bench, because they look natural and do not shout, and they suit canvas, leather, wood, dust and the lightening of darker browns.
Acrylics dry quickly, which is an advantage when spraying, but when painting with a brush it complicates blending and smooth transitions. A wet palette helps, that is a tray with dampened paper on which the paint stays workable far longer. The second option is to add a drying retarder to the paint, which lengthens the time for spreading it, but dose it drop by drop, otherwise the paint will stay soft for a long time and will smear. In a warm and dry room, consider topping the water up more often as well, because the paint on the palette thickens faster than you expect.
For modelers of figures and dioramas who work with natural earthy tones, and for builders of vehicles looking for a subdued shade for equipment and accessories.
Shake the bottle before use. Work in a ventilated space, use a respirator when spraying and store the paint out of the reach of children, away from frost and direct sunlight.
