AMMO Gun Metal is a ready-to-use weathering pigment from brand AMMO of Mig Jimenez in a gunmetal shade. It is a very fine powder pigment, not a kit or a conventional opaque paint. It is used to imitate polished, handled metal — on gun and small-arms barrels, edges, tracks, and surfaces that have been worn smooth to a metallic shine through use. The package has a capacity of 35 ml.

Use

• Apply a small amount of pigment to the spot that should look metallic — weapon barrels, metal edges, worn surfaces.
• Then rub in the pigment with a finger or a soft tool; friction gives the surface the characteristic shine of polished metal.
• The effect can be built up by repeated application and polishing; it stands out best on a dark base.
• Suitable as a final accent on the weathering of military vehicles, weapons, and mechanical parts.
