About product

Tamiya High Grade flat brush (small)

A quality flat brush from the top Tamiya High Grade line, in the small size. The flat shape spreads paint evenly over flat surfaces and leaves a smooth finish without brush marks. Compared with the extra small size it covers a somewhat larger area in one stroke. The solvent-resistant handle takes acrylic and solvent-based paints alike.

Use

  • Even coating of flat surfaces, panels and larger parts.
  • Painting edges, frames and strips with a clean line.
  • Applying a base color to parts by hand.
  • Touching up and evening out surfaces after airbrushing.

Who it is for

For modelers who want a quality flat brush for clean painting of surfaces. The High Grade line is among the best Tamiya offers and holds its shape longer than ordinary brushes.

After use, clean the brush with the thinner matching the type of paint and let it dry lying flat, so that it keeps its shape.

FAQ

The small size has a somewhat wider stroke, so it covers a larger area in one pass. The extra small suits smaller parts and details better.

The handle of the High Grade line is solvent-resistant, so it takes acrylic and solvent-based paints alike. Always clean it with the matching thinner.

Clean it after every use and let it dry so that the hair is not squashed. Paint dried at the ferrule will ruin the brush.
