The cut-out paper model works out Valdstejn castle, the oldest castle of the Bohemian Paradise not far from Turnov. The model is cut out of card sheets and glued into the three-dimensional shape of the picturesque rock monument. It is a classic Czech card model, which will please as a creative pastime as well as a scaled-down version of a favorite destination for a trip.
Valdstejn castle came about in the second half of the 13th century as the family seat of the lords of Valdstejn and rises on the sandstone rocks above the Hruba Skala area. It is among the oldest castles of the region and became one of the monuments open to the public for the longest time in Bohemia. Today it is a sought-after destination in the heart of the Bohemian Paradise.
Cut the parts out with a sharp knife and a ruler and score the edges before gluing for clean folds. Glue with PVA glue for paper and follow the numbering of the parts. Patient and precise work is rewarded with a faithful result.
