Preparation and building

Take the parts out of the packaging carefully and compare them with the instructions before you glue anything. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade or sprue cutters a little away from the part and sand the rest carefully, so that the mating surfaces stay flat. Always dry-fit the joints first and only then glue them. Choose the type of glue according to the material of the parts and according to the instructions: ordinary cement for plastic models joins polystyrene only, and cyanoacrylate glue is used for other materials.

Painting and care

Wash and degrease the surface before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold and will rub off while handling. Apply it in thin coats, so that the fine shapes and edges remain visible. Stand the finished work in a display case out of direct sunlight, which over time takes the saturation out of both paint and plastic. Remove dust with a soft brush, not with a cloth, which small protruding parts easily snap off against.
