This is not a model to be built or a three-dimensional figure. It is a flat panel of clear acrylic, cut out along the outline of the character Kaworu Nagisa and given printing, which seats into a base of its own. On a shelf it looks like a drawing standing on its own, because the acrylic around the silhouette optically retreats into the background. The manufacturer is Bandai and the item belongs to its Ichibansho line.
It comes finished. Nothing is glued, nothing is painted and nothing is completed. You only need to take it out of the package and stand it up.
Kaworu Nagisa is one of the most enigmatic characters of Neon Genesis Evangelion. He enters the story late and briefly, and yet he is among the things viewers remember most from the series. A calm, kindly boy who alone manages to come close to Shinji without distance, and whose real role comes to light only at the very end. Thanks to that, Kaworu is permanently represented in the collector range for the brand.
Acrylic scratches easily and the printing does not take chemicals. Clean the stand therefore only with a soft dry cloth, without solvents, methylated spirit and window cleaners. Long direct sunlight does the motif no good, and the best place is a glazed case or a shelf away from a window. It is worth keeping the package in case the collection is moved.
