IJA Light Grey Green is an acrylic paint from AMMO of Mig Jimenez — a lighter gray-green shade from the range for Japanese aviation.
Responsibility details are not available.
A light gray-green from the acrylic range by AMMO of Mig Jimenez. The word Light in the name sets it apart from the darker variant of the same color family, so both items can be used side by side — one as the base, the other for brightening. The abbreviation IJA refers to the Imperial Japanese Army. The paint has an acrylic binder and is thinned with water or with an acrylic thinner of the same type.
Light camouflage shades spray less easily than dark ones — they cover less well and are more readily oversprayed into patches. A light primer, thorough stirring of the paint and several very thin passes instead of two heavy ones all help. When modulating, do not mix the lighter tone with white but with exactly this lighter variant of the same shade; the result then stays clean in color and does not turn gray. Before applying decals, cover the surface with a varnish compatible with acrylic.
For modelers of Japanese aircraft and for those who work with the modulation technique and want a lighter counterpart to the base shade.
Keep out of the reach of children. Ventilate and use respiratory protection when spraying with an airbrush. Close the container after work.
