A modeling paint from the Real Colors range in the interior green of Japanese naval aircraft, the variant for Nakajima production. A 17 ml bottle, code RC957.
Responsibility details are not available.
The interior green of Japanese naval aircraft, listed under the designation M3 in the variant for production by Nakajima. The inside of Japanese machines had its own coloring, independent of the camouflage on the outer surfaces, and the shade differed according to the production plant. The range therefore offers two variants of the same designation, and the one for Mitsubishi is listed under the code RC956.
On the interior surfaces of models of Japanese naval aircraft from Nakajima production, that is the cockpit, the inside of the fuselage and the small equipment that remains visible from the cockpit. Check the kit documentation for which machine this applies to. The paint also serves for parts you want to set apart from the outer camouflage. The seat, the instrument panel and the seat belts are usually painted separately, so follow the kit instructions for those.
Stir the bottle properly before use, because settled pigment changes both the tone and the coverage. Spray the interior before you glue the fuselage together, or you will no longer reach it. Wash and degrease the surface and apply thin coats. The inside of a cockpit looks convincing when the surface is graded: a darker tone into the corners, a slightly lighter one on the edges and raised areas. Mask the glazing before spraying and take the masks off only once the paint has dried.
The package contains one bottle of 17 ml. Thinner, primer, masks and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise. Follow the manufacturer's data for thinning and tool cleaning.
