A themed set of modeling markers devoted to the camouflage of late German armored vehicles. The patterns of the end of the war did not come about in factory order: they were applied over the base coat, often right at the units and with whatever was at hand, so you find softly misted transitions and hard-edged patches side by side. That is exactly why a tool you can work with over small areas is useful.
The color comes straight from the tip, with no mixing, no thinning and no airbrush. The set belongs among markers for picking out and aging a surface, so it also serves for later adjustments to a finished paint job.
The surface has to be dry, clean and degreased. Plan the pattern in advance so the patches do not all run across the side in the same direction or follow the edges. Apply in thin coats and let each dry; you reach depth of color by repeating, not by pressing harder. Try the shade and the stroke on an offcut before you go anywhere near the model. The instructions on the packaging give the exact procedure for this set.
It suits builders of German armor of the late period who want to draw in or refine a camouflage pattern without setting up an airbrush. The package contains the set of markers listed; the model, other paints, clear coats and thinners are not included, unless stated otherwise.
