Eight colors for German vehicles of the last two years of the war, with three shades of dark yellow and a washable winter white.
Responsibility details are not available.
February 1943 meant a fundamental turn for German armored vehicles. The dark gray finish ended and its place was taken by dark yellow, onto which the crews applied green and brown patches right at the units. It is exactly this last phase of the war that these eight bottles are devoted to.
The last bottle is the washable winter white, with which selected areas were painted over as improvised camouflage for snow.
The bottles hold lacquer, even though one of them is deliberately acrylic. The winter white is meant to be matte and washable, so that the original color can be revealed beneath it, which is why the manufacturer supplies it on a different chemical base from the rest of the package.
