Limonene Cement Extra Thin is an extra thin liquid cement for injection-molded plastic (polystyrene) models from the Japanese brand Tamiya. The solvent consists in part of limonene obtained from citrus fruit, so the cement has a noticeably more pleasant odor than ordinary modeling cements. The low viscosity lets the cement wick by capillary action into a seated seam, and once dry it leaves no marks. The package has a volume of 40 ml and the cap is fitted with a brush for precise application.

Use

• Bring the parts together and brush the cement into the seam; thanks to its low viscosity it flows into the joint on its own.
• The cement melts the surface of the plastic and welds the parts together; it also suits flowing into small gaps between parts.
• It can also be used for gluing plastic sheet and strip when scratchbuilding and modifying a model.
• Intended for polystyrene (ordinary modeling) plastic; it does not bond resin, metal or photo-etched parts.
