The light earthy Light Earth liquid pigment from the Liquid Pigments Washes range by Lifecolor adds a fine deposit of dry soil to a model.

A light earthy deposit is the most versatile of the whole dirt family. It suits desert and European vehicles, a diorama base and figures alike, and above all it can be worked carefully, because a light tone on a dark base never causes as drastic a change as the other way round. This product from the Italian brand Lifecolor belongs to the liquid pigment range, that is, pigment dispersed in a fluid.
After the previous layers a model tends to be darker and more contrasty than it should be. A light earthy coat evens that excess out, softens the sharp transitions and gives the model back the impression of being one whole. At the same time it brings out the engraved detail, because it settles around it and creates a light border along the edges.
Only after the dark layers of dirt and above the emphasized engraved detail. The order matters here, because light soil is meant to mute and even out. Had it come earlier, further dark layers would cover it and its point would be lost.
For modelers who want a versatile light earthy tone to hand for finishing, and for diorama builders tying a model in with its base. Stir the bottle before work and during it, as the pigment settles at the bottom.
Keep out of the reach of children, ventilate when working in a closed room and close the bottle well after use.
