Luftwaffe Fighter Colours 1941-44 - an acrylic set from AK Interactive

This is a set of acrylic paints, not a kit. It holds the shades that were officially laid down at the end of 1941 as the base camouflage colors of the day fighters of the Luftwaffe - RLM 74, RLM 75 and RLM 76 - supplemented by RLM 04, commonly used for quick identification markings throughout the war. Although RLM 74 was officially withdrawn in the middle of 1944, these shades were in use until the end of the war, on night fighters as well.

Use

• Acrylic paints thinnable with water or with the manufacturer's acrylic thinner; for a brush and for an airbrush.
• The upper surfaces are sprayed with a mottled camouflage of the darker RLM shades, the lower surfaces with the light RLM 76.
• Apply over a base coat in thin layers with soft transitions.
• Before the decals we recommend going over the surface with a gloss clear coat.
