This is a diorama accessory, not a model of a vehicle or an aircraft. The set holds finely photo-etched maple leaves in thin metal sheet which, once cut out, shaped and painted, serve to round out trees, bushes, fallen leaves and undergrowth on the base of a diorama. Variant 2 offers a different shape or size of leaf from the basic set.
Leaves raise the credibility of a scenic base and of the transitions between vehicles and terrain. They suit models of armored vehicles, figures and civilian buildings alike and can be combined with other scenic materials.
Carefully separate the individual leaves from the fret, bend them slightly for a natural shape and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint them with acrylics, sprayed or applied in several shades of green, yellow and brown, so that the leaves do not look flat. Fallen leaves can be scattered onto a base fixed with diluted glue.
The set is a scenic accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and other accessories are not part of the package.
