Masking Tape with sheet 0,15x10m

Tamiya Masking Tape with sheet (150 mm x 10 m)

A masking aid from Tamiya in which the masking tape is joined to a wide covering sheet. The figure 0.15 gives the width, that is, 150 mm; the roll is 10 m long. The combination of adhesive tape and sheet makes it possible to cover large areas at once and at the same time to cut your own shapes and templates directly from the sheet. The material is flexible, holds a sharp boundary between colors, peels off without sticky residue once the paint is dry and resists thinners. It suits anywhere a narrow tape would mean laboriously laying many strips side by side.

Use

• Masking large areas in one piece instead of many strips of tape
• Cutting your own shapes, curves and templates directly from the sheet
• Sharp color boundaries and clean camouflage transitions
• Protecting glazing, cockpits and larger parts from overspray
• Usable under lacquer paints too thanks to its resistance to thinners

Who the set is for

Suitable for modelers who need to mask larger areas or to prepare their own shaped masks. The sheet and the tape can be cut easily with scissors or with a sharp knife along the outline you want.

Apply to a perfectly dry base, press the edges down well because of paint creeping under, and remove the mask in good time and at a shallow angle. On sensitive surfaces, test the tack in a hidden spot first.
