Metal Burnishing Fluid is a chemical fluid for blackening and patinating white metal from AK Interactive, supplied in a 100 ml bottle. It serves above all for metal (turned or cast) tracks for tank models, but also for other small metal parts such as chains, barrels or accessories. It is not a paint - the metal darkens by a chemical reaction directly on the surface, so the result stays metallic, thin and resistant to abrasion and does not clog fine detail the way a coat of paint would.
It will be appreciated by military vehicle modelers who use metal tracks (of the Friul type, for example) or other metal parts and want to give them a realistic dark, worn look quickly and without a brush. A dark metal base is also an ideal ground for subsequent dry brushing, washes and pigments and saves time compared with classic painting.
A chemical product - use in a well-ventilated area, avoid contact with skin and eyes, keep out of reach of children. Wash your hands after use.
