Painting a figure follows different rules from spraying an airframe. You need matt flesh tones in several steps, colours for uniform cloth, leather and canvas, and metal shades for buckles and weapons, and every one of them has to tolerate volumes being built up with glazes and a dry brush. Enamels for figures are therefore laid on thinly and worked slowly, nothing like covering a wing in two passes.
