A modeling tool for working with moldable pastes. How it is used follows the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The tool belongs among the modeling tools and relates to work with moldable pastes, that is to the part of building where the surface of the ground, mud and deposits on running gear are shaped. The particular way it is used follows the manufacturer's instructions.
Ground and modeling pastes can only be worked until they start to set, and there is usually little time. Prepare the base, the water and the tools in advance and apply the paste over smaller areas. It pays to wet the tool and your fingers, as the paste then sticks less and the mark stays clean. Do not lay the layer on thickly all at once: a thick layer dries slowly, cracks and lifts away from the base. Finally, let the area dry undisturbed; only then can it be painted. Make a test first on a scrap of paste away from the model, so that the result can be compared with what the scene needs.
Clean the tool straight after work, while the paste is still damp. Dried remains are considerably harder to remove and can change the shape of the working face, so the next mark no longer looks the same. Once cleaned, dry the tool and store it dry, so that no moisture stays on it.
The aid will be used by builders of dioramas, terrain bases and scenes where the texture of the surface is worked. For a clean build of a model straight from the box you will not need it.
Modeling and ground pastes, paints and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
