Vodou ředitelný akryl. Řada 3rd Generation od AK interactive je akrylová — ředí se vodou nebo akrylovým ředidlem téhož výrobce, ne nitrem. Plast nenapadá a nepotřebujete agresivní rozpouštědla.

Protože „NATO černá" ani ve skutečnosti čistá čerň není — je to tlumený, do šeda posunutý tmavý odstín. Má to i modelářský smysl: čistá černá na modelu pohltí světlo a detail (nýty, svary, panelové linie) v ní zanikne. Tlumená čerň zachová stíny a plasticitu.

Nestačí. Schéma je trojbarevné — kromě černé potřebujete i NATO zelenou a NATO hnědou. Teprve všechny tři dohromady dají správné maskování, výrobce je proto nabízí i jako společnou sadu.

Stříkejte airbrushem volnou rukou při nižším tlaku a s barvou zředěnou na řidší konzistenci, s tryskou blíž k povrchu. Pro ostré hrany kamufláže naopak použijte maskování.
