The material is listed under the designation Natuex F in the coarse version and in the brown shade. The package holds 0.1 liter, that is one hundred milliliters. Brown is among the shades that get used up fastest in modeling: earthy tones find use everywhere a model meets the terrain, and the coarser version carries a noticeable texture on the surface that the fine version does not give.

Before you start

It pays to make a test on an offcut or on a piece of cardboard first. It will show you how the material darkens or, on the contrary, lightens once it has dried and how coarse the result looks in your scale; the same version looks different on a vehicle model in 1:35 and on a small aircraft. The particular procedure, the thinning and the drying time are given in the manufacturer's instructions.

Working with it and storage

• Take smaller amounts out into a separate container, so that no dirt or paint residues get back into the package.
• Apply it in smaller doses rather than large ones, and let each layer dry thoroughly.
• Clean the tools right away; once it has dried it is considerably harder.
• Close the package carefully after use and wipe the rim, otherwise the lid will dry shut.
• Store at room temperature, away from frost and direct sunlight, and out of the reach of children.
