Aber photo-etched mesh 1.8 x 1.2 mm is a fine sheet of brass mesh with rectangular openings for creating radiator grilles, ventilation openings and protective screens on models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a general-purpose photo-etched accessory, not a kit. Aber (a Polish maker of photo-etched parts) supplies a thin brass sheet with a regular mesh of an opening size of 1.8 x 1.2 mm. The rectangular openings give the mesh a coarser, pronounced grid, which suits larger areas and more robust elements.
Photo-etched brass mesh replaces coarsely molded plastic grilles with an accurate metal part. You will use it on the grilles of engine compartments, fan covers, baskets and protective screens, radiator vents, or as the filling of an opening. The material is thin, holds its shape and can easily be cut to measure.
Cut the part out with sharp photo-etch scissors or break it off the sheet, and degrease the area beforehand. Glue the mesh with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy; larger areas can be shaped gently over a cylindrical object. Apply a metal primer before painting so that the paint holds well.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other material are not included in the package.
