An accessory item for the model of the Japanese battleship Ise, from the accessories for ship models. The kit itself is not part of it.
Responsibility details are not available.
Ise was the lead ship of the pair of Japanese battleships of the same name completed during the First World War. She entered history chiefly through the rebuilding of 1943: instead of the two rear gun turrets she received a short flight deck with catapults, so that a hybrid between a battleship and an aircraft carrier came about. Her air group, however, never took off from her in combat, and in 1945 the ship ended up sunk in shallow water off Kure. It is that unusual silhouette that makes her a rewarding subject for modelers.
It is an accessory for a model of Ise from the accessories for ship models. It does not contain a kit, but a part with which a finished model is made more accurate. What exactly is in the package and which model the set is cut for is given in the manufacturer's instructions, so go through them before the build.
The set is for builders of Japanese ships of the Second World War who care that the deck and the superstructures look truer than in the base form of the kit. The package holds neither the ship model nor paints nor glue, unless stated otherwise.
