A pen from the RC Marker range in off-white, that is, a white softened toward cream. On a scale model a pure white looks hard and optically inflates the shape, whereas a broken shade keeps the area calm and better matches the way a white finish looks on a real machine under a layer of service wear. The tip lays the paint down directly, so no palette and no mixing are needed.
On lettering, numbers and small markings, on light parts of an interior, on insulators, handles and other small elements that would be awkward to paint with a brush. It also suits picking out sharp edges where the finish is worn back to light in service, and serves as an undercoat beneath a more saturated color that does not cover on dark plastic on its own.
What is supplied is the pen in the stated shade. A model, other shades, clear coats and thinners are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and keep the pen out of the reach of children.
