About product

OIF and OEF Weathering Set for modern US vehicles from AK interactive

The set is aimed at modern American vehicles deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. It holds an acrylic base paint in one of the most common desert shades of the American forces and two enamel weathering products, a wash and streaking effects. The combination gives a convincing dusty look to vehicles from a desert setting.

Use

Spray the base desert shade of the vehicle with the acrylic paint.
The enamel wash brings out the panels, the details and the recesses of the hull.
The streaking effects add traces of dust and grime to vertical surfaces.
The set also suits the vehicles of other armies and periods in a similar setting.

Who the set is for

For modelers of modern military vehicles with a focus on American vehicles in the Middle East.

The acrylic paint is thinned with water and the enamel effects with mineral spirits. Do not mix the two chemistries, and ventilate the area.
